Here Are 5 Beautifully Designed Restaurants Owned By Celebrities You May Never Have Heard Of

Refined, polished, and elegance are a few words I would used when describing fashion designer Ralph Lauren’s Polo Lounge in NYC. Breathing the polo lifestyle into his restaurant through wall art of the horse-riding lifestyle. Using dark brown woods and leathers also seems like an homage to horses and stables. Prints used in the pillows also seems to reflect the fashion aspect of Ralph Lauren, a print often used in his collections as well. A place that exudes such class definitely seems like a restaurant worth visiting.

Vanderpump restaurant owned by reality TV star, Lisa Vanderpump brings you an English Garden fairy tale dream. With towering olive trees and fully intricately decorated ceilings, it feels like a dinner party in a dream. The purple-pink neon lighting which is undoubtedly the star of the space truly seems to create an otherworldly experience. Finally, abundant gold accents in the furniture and ceiling create an ultimate luxury look.

Located in Miami and co-owned by popular singer and rapper of the hit song “Happy”, Swan with its pink hued lighting and contemporary white furniture seems like the ultra modern-chic place to be. Ken Fulk who happened to be the designer of Swan opted for a tropical aesthetic. With beautifully delicate details and engravings galore complemented by warm lighting and hanging chandeliers, the place perfectly embodies elegance and sophistication. Walls decorated with fashion illustrations really bring the chic and fashionable glam factor.

Priyanka Chopra – SONA

Combining Indian style with elegance and sophistication is not something you see often and SONA has done it beautifully. “I want SONA to have the vibe of an Indian brassiere that is boisterous but elegant, uniquely Indian with a New York swagger,” says Maneesh Goyal (Partner at SONA). Melisa Bowers – talented interior designer of SONA – wished to give an Art Deco 1930s Mumbai vibe. What seems to be bringing in the Indian culture are accents such as custom miniature table lamp shades for each table crafted from traditional saris and various paintings by Indian artists decorating there walls. Plastered walls hint to the Indian accents as well as emphasising the accent lighting arrangements.

Simon Porte Jacquemus – Oursin

Bringing you fresh Mediterranean beauty all year round, the famous fashion designer of the recent handbag craze (Le Chiquito) by the name of Simon Porte Jacquemus opened up his restaurant “Oursin” right in the heart of Paris located in the Galleries Lafayette on Champs-Élysées. Featuring lime-coated walls and a myriad of pottery decor, it feels like a vacation to Greece. Further evoking the summer feel, spiral lemon trees, light coloured rattan chairs, and white cotton tablecloths adorn the space.
